Jim Doris (2001)
James Earl, 1936
Jim taught for ten years in Toronto secondary schools before joining the Ontario Ministry of Education from 1970 to 1994. He enjoys travelling with his partner, Wendy Sommerville, genealogy, and playing piano for singsongs at several seniors homes in Toronto.
In 1960 Jim married Anne Casey (1941 – 2001), with whom he had three children:
- Colleen Anne 1961-1988. Colleen graduated in social work and worked at the School of Continuing Education at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. She died at age 27 of cystic fibrosis.
- James William Earl, 1962- is a lawyer in Toronto, specializing in commercial litigation. In 1995 he married a fellow lawyer, Laura Nield. They have four children.
- John Richard, 1964-1997. John worked as a policy analyst in the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Community and Social Services of the Ontario Public Service. He died at age 32 of cystic fibrosis.
I am trying to reach Mr Doris who taught at Central High School Of Commerce during the 1960′s. ?
