Daniel McCarthy (2009)
Daniel Vincent, 1947 (son of Don and Bonnie McCarthy)
Dan graduated with a law degree from Queens University in 1971. He has been practicing law in the Toronto area since 1973 and specializes in the area of Civil and Criminal Litigation.
In 1971, Dan married Lynda Rodrigue. Lynda worked as an elementary school teacher with the Durham School Board until her retirement.
Dan enjoys golf, hockey and spending time with his family. He and Lynda live in Pickering (ON) and often travel to Ottawa to visit relatives.
They have three children:

1. Michael John, 1975. Mike is a Service Level Coordinator with the Ontario Ministry of Finance. He and his wife Julie have four children:

- Rosemary Mae, 2005
- Matthew Joseph, (2006 – 2006)
- Anna Lynda, 2007
2. Timothy Daniel, 1977. Tim is an athlete, adventurer and bon vivant. He works as a Program Manager in the telecommunications industry, and lives in Toronto with his wife Nikisha and their two cats. He and Nikisha enjoy food, wine and art, and travel as often as they can.
3. Amy Elizabeth, 1979. Amy is a high school teacher with the Durham Board of Education.
It should also be noted that Daniel (aka Dad) was drafted to the Saskatchewan Rough Riders of the CFL but opted to be ‘family guy’ rather than ‘a pro athlete’.
