Harvard, 1941 (son of Bertha and John Turnbull)
Harvard attended St. Michael’s College in Toronto. He is an avid athlete, playing professional hockey for the Greensboro Generals and the New Jersey Devils in the 1960s. He won an ECHL championship in 1963. In pre-season games against Montreal Canadians and Detroit Red Wings he scored a goal in each game. Harvard also plays competitive golf, winning the Bryan Park Senior open and the North Carolina senior 4ball Championship. He has worked for Standard Register for 35 years and is presently a Presidents Committee member.
He has three children:
- Kevin Harvard, 1966. Kevin is also a keen athlete and has a career in the finance industry.
- Jennifer Ruth, 1969, graduated from UNCG, Greensboro, North Carolina. She has just successfully completed her first year of Medical school in NC.
- Matthew Ray, 1984, is in high school and is also an excellent athlete. He has won championships in hockey, football and baseball.
